Open the Print Dialog:
- From your application, click on File > Print.
- Select your printer, which should be "Epson L220," and click Properties or Preferences.
Select Paper Size:
- In the print settings window, under the Paper section, select your desired paper size. Ensure you choose a size that supports borderless printing, such as A4 (Borderless) or Letter (Borderless).
Borderless Printing:
- Check the option for Borderless Printing.
- You might need to adjust the Expansion settings under the borderless option to control how much of the image extends beyond the edge of the paper.
Quality Settings:
- Choose the appropriate print quality. For photos, you might want to select Photo or High Quality for the best results.
Color Settings:
- Adjust color settings if needed, especially if you require accurate color reproduction.
Print:
- Once all settings are configured, click OK to return to the main print dialog and then click Print.
macOS
Open the Print Dialog:
- From your application, click File > Print.
- Choose your Epson L220 printer.
Borderless Option:
- In the print dialog, click on the drop-down menu labeled Paper Size and choose a borderless option, like A4 (Borderless).
- You might need to go to Print Settings or Layout to find the borderless printing option.
Quality and Media Settings:
- Select the Media Type suitable for your print job, such as Photo Paper.
- Set the Print Quality to a higher level for photos.
Color Options:
- Configure color management under Color Options if necessary.
Print:
- Click Print to start printing your borderless document.
Important Notes:
- Borderless printing may slightly crop the edges of your document or image. Make sure the content near the edges is not crucial, or adjust the image's layout accordingly.
- Not all paper sizes support borderless printing. Make sure to select a compatible size in the settings.
If these steps do not fully align with your print settings, ensure that you have the latest printer driver installed from Epson's website.
