To change the email address on your Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) iTax portal account yourself, follow these steps:
Steps to Change Email on iTax Portal:
Login to iTax Portal:
- Go to the iTax login page.
- Enter your KRA PIN and click Continue.
- Enter your password and security stamp (CAPTCHA code), then click Login.
Access "Amend PIN Details":
- Once logged in, navigate to the "Registration" menu at the top.
- From the dropdown, select "Amend PIN Details".
Select Changes to Make:
- A form will appear where you can select which part of the PIN details you want to amend. Check the box for "Basic Information" to proceed with changing your email address.
Update Your Email:
- In the form, update your email address under the contact information section.
Submit the Changes:
- After making the changes, submit the form. You might be prompted to attach supporting documents (this is often not needed for just an email change).
- Once you submit, you will receive an acknowledgment receipt, and the new email will be updated in the system after approval by KRA.
Wait for Approval:
